In a game with two or more guests, one guest could pretend to be the host:
push a board at the others, fake or cancel a match, or disconnect another
guest, which could end a match for everyone. That's no longer possible.
Joining a friend's game no longer makes your own solo progress on that
canvas look empty.
Nobody can fill a room with fake players to keep your friends out.
During a versus match, nobody can stitch on your board or replace it, and
sudoku digits only count between "Go!" and the final whistle.
The online library now ships with the game instead of loading from another
site, and online play works when you open the game file straight off disk.
The versus lobby says plainly that each player reports their own score.
Race up to three friends for the canvas, on one screen or online with a code.
On one screen you share the canvas, and each region goes to whoever
stitched most of it. A nearly finished region can still be stolen.
Online, everyone solves their own copy of the same puzzle. You see your
rivals' progress and a minimap of where they're working, never their colours.
Three rules: play out the full canvas, first to a number of regions, or
most regions when the clock stops.
A match never touches your saved progress.
During a match, region quotes appear as a small notice instead of a dialog
over the board.
Fixed: sudoku digits placed with a mouse or controller now count for the
player who placed them, touch stitches in split-screen go to the right
player, and players 2 to 4 can undo their own moves.
A canvas you've already played opens in about a second. Angels went from
about 37 seconds to under one. A difficulty you haven't tried yet still
has to be woven the first time.
Picross patches get harder with the difficulty, and every one is still
solvable by logic alone.
Changing difficulty never redraws a patch you've already started.
Saving your progress has its own 💾 button. The dialog explains how to
hand your board to a friend, and warns that importing one replaces their
progress on that canvas.
Tap or drag to stitch, two fingers to pan and zoom, and a light or dark
brush switch. Tap a sudoku cell to select it, and tap again to change its
digit.
Typing a code or PIN no longer triggers board shortcuts.
Your last stitch is saved even if you close the tab right away.
The music setting is remembered, and with music off the track isn't
downloaded at all.
Co-op undo takes back only your own moves.
Friends on slightly different versions can still play together.
